New artwork underway…
I always start with the sky!
I made this picture from wet felt, overlaid with applique leaves in muted Autumn colours.
I’ll be showing this, along with new work, at our Attenborough Village Hall ABCAT Art Fair on Sunday October 27th.
Here’s a date for the diary – 19 of the 2019 ABCAT participants all together in a room!
It will be nice for us too, given we don’t see each other on the trail days.
Hope to see you there.
The garden is looking lovely – it is filled with textures and shades of green. Pretty weeds and a wild lawn have been encouraged and embraced!
We’re all ready for the ABC Art Trail next weekend, looking forward to welcoming many people to enjoy our art, and chill over a goodie from the Nice Lolly Company.
Being part of the ABC (Attenborough, Beeston and Chilwell) Art Trail was a massive highlight for me last year, for many reasons. Not least because I got to work (and chill) with a lot of lovely creative people.
I am therefore delighted to be part of the team again for 2019.
Save the dates! 1st and 2nd June 2019. More news to follow…
I love this time of year with all my sequins, felts, wool and festive paper laid out infront of me ready to start some Christmas creativity!
I will have a festooned stall at an Attenborough, Beeston, Chilwell Art Trail event at Meadow Rise Infant School on November 17th and 18th, along with other local artists and artisans.
Save the date!
