I am SO delighted to have two pictures in the annual University exhibition this year.

I have been visiting this exhibition for years and never dreamt I would see my work there until recently. I am eligible to apply being an ex employee.
The work is judged anonymously so I am super proud to have been chosen.
Another little jump in my confidence as an artist!

My Quince tree is bursting with fruit, the branches are propped up like an old cider apple tree.
I’ll be making pots of Quince Jelly with these beauties, and these will be on sale in a popular Beeston outlet – more news soon!
I am obsessed with this view of my road, from the middle – often seen during walks.
The overhanging trees, the tunnel vision, the old garage in the foreground, a tram rumbling past at the end.
I have tried many times to recreate with drawing and painting.
Here’s the latest attempt, a work in progress, unfinished to date.

And another picture of this beautiful view.

Here’s a box full of paper roses made from a classic 1977 Mills and Boon novel for a customer in Reading.

I sent the book cover and plot summary to add some more interest to the order.

I can also confirm the book has a happy ending!!!
I made these gingerbread cricketers for my hubbie and his friends when they went to see England play India at Trent Bridge this weekend.
Thankfully they proved to be a mild diversion away from the score…
I have had a few orders via Etsy recently for paper anniversaries (1 year).
Here’s a lovely one from a customer in Cheshire – the lyrics to their first dance printed on to ivory paper with half coloured pink. The same colours as the wedding.
Romantic!
