I like to make intricate, complex depictions of beautiful natural objects and magnificent landscapes and architecture. After learning pottery techniques in 2021, I have extended my output to pots and bowls.
I combine detailed hand embroidery, wet felting, textile applique techniques, machine stitching, plaiting, knitting and crochet.
I work mainly with natural fibres and recycled textiles and I have a thirst for experimentation in order to extend my repertoire.
I work from my humble ‘Art Shed’ in Beeston, Nottingham.
I have exhibited my work locally since 2018, in the Attenborough, Beeston and Chilwell Art Trail (ABCAT), the Djanogly Art Gallery and at the Nottingham Society of Artists.
In 2025, I was excited to be invited to join the acclaimed Midlands textile group The Living Threads. The skilled members produce exciting and innovative textile work using a variety of techniques.
