One thing I know – it’s going to be a busy year!
I’m delighted to be getting more heavily involved with The Living Threads, a portfolio of work by East Midlands based textile artists.

Throughout MAY 2026, Living Threads we have an exhibition In The Wild at the Canalside Heritage Centre with a theme of gardens, flora, trees, insects and water.

I will also be at Canalside with Living Threads members as part of Notts Open Studios on Saturday 9th May, Sunday 10th May and Sunday 17th May.
Expect a wide variety of my products for sale, some demos and a lot of textile chatter.

From May 25th to June 6th, I will be part of an exciting Living Threads exhibition FOLDED FRAYED FOUND at the Nottingham Society of Artists, Friar Lane.

Being in such a prestigious exhibition has encouraged me to be bolder and bigger and more ambitious with my work. I have combined extensive hand embroidery to depict nature with a previous love of free machine stitching to depict buildings.

I am applying to my local Attenborough, Beeston and Chilwell Art Trail – now in its 11th year!
The 2026 dates are Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September.

If I am selected you will see bigger work this year following my exhibitions but I will also be producing smaller wild flower compositions and, as ever, inspirations from my travels.
A recent trip to Morocco is proving compelling in terms of colour and pattern – watch this space!

I also hope to take part in the ABCAT Winter Fair at St Johns Parish Church Beeston on Saturday 14th November.
I really enjoyed selling my crafty Christmas offerings last year!

Hope to see you around!
